Description
This one day workshop will focus on practical steps to help you translate your program into observable and measurable indicators that will help address the needs of your funder, provide you with objective feedback as to what is going well and perhaps what might need to be revised. The workshop will involve a series of hands-on practical exercises so that you can practice what you learn. You are also encouraged to bring related questions to the workshop and we will use break-out sessions to problem solve. Time will also be spent on how to structure, organize and prepare a report. The workshop proposes to be educational and interactive.

The facilitator will be Professor John Winterdyk, Director of the 'Centre for Criminology and Justice Research' (CCJR) at Mount Royal University in Calgary. John has been involved in dozen of evaluation projects, published over 20 textbooks and in excess of 40 research based articles. He is the co-author of a popular research methods textbook, the co-editor of a research methods reader.
